Inclusive Talent Management – Seminar #1

Inclusive Talent Management, Part 1: Building Robust and Sustainable Talent Pipelines

Partnering with a workforce training provider, whether a community college, non-profit, community-based organization, or local workforce board, can help your business access skilled and diverse talent pools that are too often overlooked. These partnerships can also help you build capacity for sustained talent development. We will review best practices for effective partnerships and share case studies of companies that have done this successfully to prepare you to identify potential training partners of your own.

About the Inclusive Talent Management Seminar Series

This three-part seminar series will explore how organizations can best recruit, retain, and advance Opportunity Talent, defined as individuals from traditionally untapped talent pools who are resilient, motivated, adaptable, and actively seeking economic stability through employment.

Opportunity Talent may include young adults without a college degree, persons with disabilities, veterans, formerly incarcerated individuals, and individuals with DACA status. Proactively targeting Opportunity Talent expands a company’s talent pipeline while bringing in valuable new perspectives and capabilities.

Each 90-minute session will introduce participants to research-based best practices, highlight case studies, and provide peer-to-peer learning. Most importantly, participants will explore how to implement high-impact practices within their own companies.

The seminar series will be led by Grads of Life, a national leader in helping organizations develop inclusive talent management strategies.
