Support for Early-Career Professionals
The Board of Trade’s Emerging Leaders Network is for early-career professionals who have ambitions to grow a successful career in the Washington, D.C. area. Through this network, they will make valuable contacts, learn new professional skills, and enjoy career guidance from seasoned area professionals.
Network Activities
The Emerging Leaders Network will hold roundtable meetings throughout the year featuring guest speakers, usually members of our Board of Directors, with impressive experience who can provide valuable insights for participants’ professional development.

Co-Chairs
In 2021, the meetings and events mentioned above will be planned by two co-chairs:
Caroline Miller, Senior Account Executive, RP3 Agency
Caroline is a professional athlete-turned-marketing and advertising professional, passionate about all things strategy and creative. Currently a Senior Account Executive at RP3 Agency, she leads day-to-day client relationships and is responsible for managing and overseeing successful campaign launches. Caroline joined RP3 from Creative Artists Agency in NYC where she worked as a sports broadcasting agent assistant, liaising between high profile clients and major television networks. Caroline graduated from the University of Virginia in 2013, where she was a four-year varsity soccer player and 2x All-American. She was drafted to her hometown team, the Washington Spirit, in 2013 for the inaugural season of the National Women’s Soccer League.
Eric Schmidt, Account Executive, memoryBlue
Eric is a graduate of James Madison University, where he attended the Hart School of Sports and Hospitality and earned his minor from the College of Business. Eric was also a student athlete for four years as a member of the men’s soccer team. After graduating, Eric worked for Monumental Sports and Entertainment for two years, selling premium hospitality products for the six major sports teams. Eric is currently an Account Executive for memoryBlue.
Who Should Participate
The Emerging Leaders Network intends to benefit any professional employed at a Board of Trade member company who is approximately within the first decade of their career.
