Regional Policy Leadership Series: DC Mayor Bowser Discusses Economic Development Plans, presented by Holland & Knight LLP

View Recap

The Regional Policy Leadership Series connects the Greater Washington region’s business community with DC Mayor Muriel Bowser to discuss some of the biggest issues facing the region’s Central Business District. This will include discussions regarding the need for increased public safety, WMATA/Metro transportation budget gap funding, downtown revitalization amid the continued work-from-home climate that has impacted business in Washington DC, and how the District can retain and grow the educated and much-needed regional workforce that helps our communities thrive.

These pressing issues, which have an outsized impact on the broader business environment of the region, will require broad collaboration and communication between the District and thought leaders in the business community in order to find effective and efficient solutions. We look forward to having our members and community engage with regional officials on policy that impacts regional business.
