In Partnership with the Greater Washington Board of Trade and the Greater Washington Partnership, the Capital Region Transportation Forum is the Premier Platform for Shaping the Future of Transportation.
This year’s forum will feature a review of key findings from both the DMVMoves Initiative and the Blueprint for Regional Mobility 5-Year Refresh. The combined insights will focus on identifying critical transportation challenges, opportunities for improvement, and actionable strategies for enhancing infrastructure, accessibility, and sustainability across the region. The forum will conclude with a panel discussion featuring Virginia Secretary of Transportation Shep Miller, Maryland Transportation Secretary Paul Wiedefeld, and Director of the District Department of Transportation Sharon Kershbaum, who will react to the findings and address collaborative strategies for meeting the transportation needs of the business community and the region. In addition, Randy Clarke, CEO of WMATA, will provide expert insights on the metro rail system, deepening the conversation around the future of mobility and the region’s transportation evolution.
