What the Network Does

The Marketing and Communications Executive Network (MarComm) provides a non-competitive way to stay on top of trends and technologies in the marketing and communications profession. MarComm activities also facilitate relationships between peers.

Brand for Breakfast – A professional development series featuring high-level speakers on specific topics in the industry. Recent speakers have included:

  • Crisis Communications: Winning in the Court of Public Opinion

  • Attorneys Mark Braswell and John Williams on "Marketing in a Highly Regulated World."

Brown Bag Network Lunches – Bring a lunch and discuss the topic of the day with your counterparts at other organizations. Recent topics have included:

  • targeting prospects;
  • finding and keeping marketing and communications talent;
  • marketing on a shoestring;
  • special event marketing; and
  • creating a marketing budget.
