Help Secure Federal Funds for Metro
Federal legislation introduced by U.S. Representative Tom Davis (R-VA) to provide $1.5 billion in federal funding to keep our Metro system properly functioning needs our advocacy. If there isn't Senate action on the bill now, we will have to start over again from scratch in the House next year.
I urge you to print this sample letter onto your letterhead and fax it to all Senators using these fax numbers. Please fax this letter as security requirements for letter screening on Capitol Hill greatly delay traditional mail. Any customizing you do of the letters would be welcome, but speed is more important than customizing at this time.
