The Greater Washington Board of Trade is committed to improving the region’s business climate and making a difference in the communities in which we live, work and play. The Board of Trade drives policies that positively impact the region, and several committees help define our legislative agenda.
The Board of Trade also has four political action committees (PACs) that interview and endorse candidates for local, state and national offices.
The Greater Washington Board of Trade convenes committees to advance its agenda on the following issues:

- Emergency preparedness
- Workforce
- Environmental policies
