May 13 — The Greater Washington Board of Trade announced that Stefan Jacoby, President and CEO of Volkswagen Group of America, will speak to Board of Trade members about how Greater Washington will help grow Volkswagen’s business at the Board of Trade’s Morning Star program on June 5.

Dulles Rail Advances Toward Full Federal Funding; Greater Washington Board of Trade Applauds Outcome
April 30 — Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Administrator James Simpson announced that the FTA will allow the rail to Dulles to move forward toward final design. This is the final step in securing the $900 million critical to the Dulles rail project.
