2006 Annual Meeting Luncheon is Dec. 7.
Join colleagues and elected officials on Thursday, Dec.7 for the Board of Trade’s Annual Meeting luncheon. Small Businesses Take Home Big Awards.
Last week, the Board of Trade’s Small Business Network honored three outstanding member firms at its annual dinner. Craig Strent, APEX Home Loans, received the Most Engaged Small Business Award for his firm’s involvement in the Board of Trade’s mission to grow business. Rick Levine and Greg Diamond, Clovis, received the Most Expanded Company Award, recognizing the staffing firm’s 86% increase in revenues in 2006. Deric Mims, SunTrust Small Business Resource Center, received the Guiding Small Business Growth Award for advancing small business interests regionally and nationally. Advocacy Matters
Post-Election, Board of Trade Congratulates New Local, State Leaders.
The Board of Trade offered congratulations to winners of state and local elections, and expressed confidence in being able to work with Governor-Elect O’Malley, Mayor-Elect Fenty, and other newly elected officials to strengthen the region’s business environment. More than 30 of the election winners were endorsed by the Board of Trade’s Maryland PAC. Read statement.
