Speaker Series

 

Morning Star Speaker Series are targeted breakfast events for senior level executives in large and mid-sized companies. Recognizable regional leaders such as CEOs and authors on corporate business and management will share their thoughts with the audience and engage in a question and answer forum with attendees. Attendance at these events is 100. All events are held at the Ronald Regan Building in the Rotunda.

John McDaniel Addresses Business Community

At the Board of Trade’s launch of the Morning Star Speaker Series on April 25, John P. McDaniel, Chairman of MedStar Health Foundation, offered his insights on leadership and the state of the region’s business community. More than 70 regional business executives gathered in the Ronald Reagan Building to hear about the challenge of recruiting and retaining an educated workforce of doctors and nurses, the importance of establishing centralized emergency care to further emergency preparedness and the state of the region’s economy and its effect on the giving community. Mr. McDaniel also shared his communication and leader­ship tactics and his passion for horse racing and Maryland’s horse heritage.
