Women of the Board of Trade programs for 2009 will be announced this fall.

Targeted to seasoned female executives and women on the ‘fast track’ in an organization, this series brings value through: developing a learning community to strengthen female leaders, creating a targeted pipeline that grows skill sets, and producing lasting relationships through strategic networks.

Attendees for Women of the Board of Trade demonstrate experience in: leadership, budget, management & supervisory tasks. The agenda for these sessions included a roundtable or panel with cross mentoring.

Spring 2008 programs were facilitated by Becky Shambaugh, Founder and President of SHAMBAUGH Leadership, and author of It’s Not a Glass Ceiling, It’s a Sticky Floor and her senior consultants, Lynette Demarest and Tina Sung. The series engaged discussion panels of regional female executives and provided “hands on” learning sessions focused on:

  • Session One: The Sticky Floors: Freeing yourself from the hidden behaviors that sabotage your career success.
  • Session Two: Strategic Relationships: Building and leveraging your network.
  • Session Three: Political Savvy & Executive Presence: Showing your value across an organization.
