VA General Assembly Brings Home NO Transportation Funds

On Sept. 26 , the Virginia General Assembly returned home from a special session with no funds to address the critical shortfall in funding for transportation projects. Although the outcome is disappointing, the Board of Trade and other business organizations helped raise the profile of this critical issue, and will continue to push for transportation funds in the 2007 session.
