Member Volunteers "Buff & Scrub" DC School
As part of DC Mayor Adrian Fenty’s effort to clean up city schools over the summer,
the Board of Trade has “adopted” Francis Junior High School, in the West End neighborhood. On Aug. 6, more than 200
volunteers from member firms in partnership with Vornado Charles E.
Smith, Board of Trade members scrubbed and painted classrooms, the library and cafeteria so that students will experience a
cleaner, brighter environment when they return later this month.
