Adrian Fenty Urges Board of Trade Directors to Help Him Fix DC Schools.
At the Oct. 17, 2006 Board of Directors meeting, Councilmember (and presumed Mayor-to-be) Adrian Fenty thanked the Board
of Trade and spoke with passion about his top priority – fixing the District’s broken schools.
He mentioned specific ways in which Mayor Bloomberg has successfully improved New York City public schools, and he
asked for the business community’s support and participation as he tackles this tough but critical task.
