Board of Directors Meeting - June 28, 2007

Maryland Governor Outlines Priorities for Board of Trade Directors. At a Board of Directors meeting on June 28, Gov. Martin O’Malley  pledged his ongoing support for the InterCounty Connector and a mix of new revenues and budget cuts to address Maryland’s budget shortfall. Asking for the Board of Trade’s help, Gov. O’Malley emphasized the need to take a balanced approach to addressing the state’s deficit -- using program cuts and new revenues. To help guide advocacy efforts in Maryland, the Board of Trade is surveying its members, with questions on tax options and other fiscal issues. Watch for a summary of survey results.
