Regional Business Leaders Predict Strong Fourth Quarter;
See Stimulus Impact

Greater Washington’s business executives expect the regional economy to improve in the fourth quarter, according to a survey of the region’s business executives conducted for the Greater Washington Board of Trade. The survey, conducted for the Board of Trade by Clarus Research Group, a nonpartisan Washington-based research firm, was sponsored by Tatum, LLC, which provides interim and project-based Chief Financial and Chief Information Officers for leading businesses of all sizes. Greater Washington Initiative Releases 2009 Regional Report

The Greater Washington Initiative released its 2009 Regional Report at its Annual Meeting on June 3. The Greater Washington region’s annual signature research publication provides current and forecasted demographic, economic and quality of life data that defines the region’s business landscape. Used extensively by GWI in its strategic marketing and business development efforts, the report is designed to provide regional data to site location conultants and company decision makers to attract new business and jobs to Greater Washington.
