Women Who Mean Business: Getting There and Staying There

The Greater Washington Board of Trade has partnered with the Washington Business Journal to offer a five-part series. Facilitated by Becky Shambaugh, Founder and President of SHAMBAUGH Leadership, and author of It’s Not a Glass Ceiling, It’s a Sticky Floor, each session explores issues and opportunities facing women in executive roles. Discussion panels of regional business leaders also provide relevant experience and lessons learned. This series is designed to offer:

  • a learning community of women that strengthens leadership,
  • a targeted pipeline that grows skill sets, and
  • opportunities to develop lasting relationships and strategic networks.

Participants should demonstrate experience in: decision-making, management, budgeting and supervisory tasks.
