What It's About
Having recently authored his third book, The Silver Lining: An Innovation Playbook for Uncertain Times, Mr. Scott Anthony will join Jim Dinegar, President and CEO of the Greater Washington Board of Trade, for a conversation interview on innovation and its importance during these economic times to to entrepreneurs and corporations alike.
Scott Anthony is the Managing Director of Innosight Ventures, a venture building and investing business with offices in Singapore, India, and the U.S. He previously was the President of Innosight's consulting arm, where he advised companies such as Procter & Gamble, Credit Suisse, Time Warner, Cisco Systems, and General Electric on topics of growth and innovation.
Scott has authored three books on innovation including Seeing What’s Next: Using the Theories of Innovation to Predict Industry Change; The Innovator’s Guide to Growth; and his most recent work, The Silver Lining: An Innovation Playbook for Uncertain Times. He has written numerous articles on innovation for the Wall Street Journal, Harvard Business Review, BusinessWeek, Forbes, Sloan Management Review, Advertising Age, Marketing Management and Chief Executive, and is a regular contributor to Harvard Business Online and serves as the editorial director of Strategy & Innovation.
